Introduction
Robert Merola is a New York City based graphic designer and president of Merola Design, a small graphic design firm that specializes in corporate identity, logo design, print projects and web design.
For the past decade Robert Merola has been perfecting his unique process of creating concept driven, effective and memorable visual communications.
Known for his clean typographic logos, he has designed corporate identities for dozens of nationally recognized brands and has accumulated numerous awards for his advertising and graphic design work.
Merola has collaborated with some the best of New York’s creative and business professionals and is passionately attached to the diverse and rich creative environment that only a New York design studio provides.
Merola is a member of the AIGA and continues his professional development by attending courses, seminars, conferences and networking opportunities.
After attending The School of Visual Arts for Graphic Design, Merola worked at J.Crew designing catalog editorial and collateral materials.
At William Snyder Design, NY he created entertainment graphics and corporate identity standards for A&E Television, and The History Channel.
Merola worked as Art Director than Creative Director at Meier Brand, NY where he created advertising campaigns, developed brand strategies and press materials for national and international clients including: Bulova, Orrefors, Kosta Boda, Martex, DeBeers and JC Penny.
As Creative Director at Look Advertising Merola worked developed brand strategies for Avon, Godiva, Levitz, HON Office Furniture, Christmas Tree Shops and American Express.
