how do you design an immediately recognizable identity that describes you precisely? how can you build a captivating and compelling site that tells your story? how will you get your message in front of the exact people who are looking for you?

Merola updates Buster Brown logo

New logo design for Buster Brown clothing

Being asked to update an icon that’s over 100 years old was both an honor and a challenge. A study was done to determine which of the brand attributes were most recognizable and which of those could be updated or eliminated. The style of Buster’s hat was the topic of much debate. After many, many redraws, this version of Tige the dog was determined to be the most cuddly. Sid Edwards was the illustrator.

Hang tags and look books were also designed.
